   What a great capture! It can be so hard getting nice pictures of animals! Especially ones that tend to scurry about!

   I saw a black squirrel in the distance once, at Niagara. We just don’t have them here in England!

   But goodness, in that angle, he really does look like a cousin to a rat, doesn’t he? It’s what our neighbour calls them; tree rats! Personally, I think they’re cute, and I love the B&W shot you caught!

   Even before I read where you are from my first thought was Ontario Canada – I am just over the border, near Buffalo. We don’t have the black squirrels but I always think they are so neat to see when we visit your side of the Falls. Thanks for sharing!

   A black squirrel…I have never seen one. We have the gray squirrels out here in California. Great capture!

    We have very dark squirrels here too. We have just been seeing them here in the last few years. Strange coloring.
